Driver Cited 30 Times for Operating While Suspended

A Deforest woman was stopped this morning by a Dane County Sheriff’s deputy and cited for Operating While Suspended for the 30thtime.
Leanna L. Norton, age 24, passed the traffic team deputy going southbound on Reiner Road in the town of Burke at about 8:30 this morning. The deputy made a traffic stop, and learned the driver’s license was suspended. Norton has paid all of the past fines and is eligible to get her driver’s license reinstated on July 17th, after paying a reinstatement fee.
The fine for Operating While Suspended is $200.50 and 3 points. She was also cited for no insurance. All 29 prior Operating While Suspended convictions have occurred since 2011.
