At approximately 1:47am, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Topp’s Hideaway, located at 4506 Lake Circle in the Town of Windsor, after receiving a report of an armed robbery. An employee reported the suspect entered the bar, displayed a weapon, and demanded cash. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled the bar traveling in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9”- 5’10” tall, with a medium build. The suspect was wearing all dark clothing and a black stocking cap.
The incident remains under investigation. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who has information on the incident to call the tip line at (608) 284-6900.
