Update On Roxbury Fatality Crash

At approximately 2:37 am on Saturday March 7th, four people were involved in a one-vehicle crash on STH 188 and Inama Road in the town of Roxbury. The initial investigation indicated a 2004 Cadillac was traveling northbound on STH 188. The vehicle lost control, rolled several times, and came to rest in a field. Three of the four occupants in the vehicle were ejected. One of the passengers, Erin L. McNeely, age 27 of Sauk City died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the vehicle is being identified as David A. Dederich, age 23 of Prairie Du Sac. The two other passengers were Josh W. Holdt, age 23 of Prairie Du Sac and Scott E. Osgood, age 29 of Lodi. Dederich is being charged with Homicide by Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. He currently remains at UW Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. Once he is released from the hospital he will be booked into the Dane County Jail. ###
