At 8:30 a.m. Dane County Deputies and Waunakee EMS responded to 7715 Bonetti Rd in the Town of Dane for a man struck by a tree.
Darrell Clemens, age 60 from the Town of Dane, was pushing down a tree at this location with a farm tractor. A large branch from the tree broke loose and struck him on the head. Initially Clemens was reported unconscious but breathing. When first responders arrived on scene, Clemens was not breathing and CPR was initiated Med Flight responded. However, Clemens was pronounced at the scene due to the injuries.
