At approximately 10:04p.m., Dane County Deputies responded to a single motorcycle crash at State Highway 89 and County Highway TV. When deputies arrived they discovered a single motorcycle off the roadway in a field. The driver of the motorcycle, Deanne M. Uittenbogaard, 39, of Waterloo was traveling southbound on Highway 89 when she failed to negotiate a curve as she approached County Highway TV and left the roadway.
She was transported by Med Flight to U.W. Hospital and is listed in critical condition. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash. .
The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
