Madison, WI: Saturday, May 2, 2009 The Dane County Sheriff's Office is requesting help in locating a chocolate colored labrador dog, which bit a motorist in the Village of Deerfield. A 42-year-old Edgerton man reported striking the dog with his vehicle just before midnight on Saturday, near the intersection of Main St. and Washburn Road. When the driver got out to render aid to the dog, he was bitten in the hand and then the dog ran off. The dog was described as wearing a choker-style collar, but did not have tags. Anyone who has contact with this dog, or knows where the dog may be found, is asked to call the Communication Center at 266-4948. If found, please use caution as the dog may be injured and aggressive.
