Madison, WI – At 2:06 p.m., Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, Mount Horeb Police, and Mount Horeb Fire Department, responded to 2573 County Road E, Town of Blue Mounds, for a structure fire. Upon arrival, a building on the property was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire destroyed the building, along with equipment and tools. The estimated loss is in excess of $60,000.
No one was injured as a result of the fire, which was reported to the resident by a passing motorist. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
