One-Vehicle Crash

Madison, WI. 3/7/09 – At approximately 2:37a.m., the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Sauk Prairie Police Department, and Sauk Prairie Fire and EMS, responded to a one-vehicle crash. The crash occurred on STH 188 and Inama Rd. in the Town of Roxbury. The initial investigation indicates a 2004 Cadillac was travelling northbound on STH 188. The vehicle lost control, rolled several times, and came to rest in a field. Three, of the four occupants in the vehicle, were ejected. The occupants of the vehicle were all transported to Sauk Hospital. Two of the occupants received serious injuries, and two received non-life threatening injuries. The area of STH 188 and Inama Rd. will be closed for approximately four hours. This crash remains under investigation. Speed, alcohol, and failure to wear safety belts appear to be a factor in the crash. The names are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
