Man Injured in Stabbing Incident

At approximately 11:43 am, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the American Best Value Inn in the town of Blooming Grove to investigate a stabbing, which occurred on a frontage road outside the hotel. Middleton Police were contacted after the victim, a 31-year-old man, had been transported to an address on Elmwood Avenue by a friend. The victim was then transported to Meriter hospital where he is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries. A suspect has been identified by the victim. Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies continue to investigate the incident, and further information will be provided as it becomes available. ###
