Single Vehicle Roll-over Crash

Madison, WI: Sunday December 28, 2008 At approximately 8 AM Dane County Deputies along with Marshall and Waterloo Police responded to a single vehicle roll-over crash on Highway 19 near Waterloo Road in the Town of Medina. Scott Roben of Waterloo was driving a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass westbound on Highway 19. He lost control of his vehicle striking a guard rail and crossing over into the east bound ditch. Passing motorists discovered the vehicle on its rooftop off the roadway in deep snow. Roben was conveyed by MedFlight to UW Hospital with serious injuries. Alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash. Roben was cited for OWI 3rd Offense, Driving Too Fast for Conditions and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.
