HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UPDATE Madison, WI: The Dane County Sheriff's Office is sending out two color images of an individual to the media in hopes of identification. The images are of poor quality and were taken at a local retailer on Friday, October 31st. The images depict a white male, heavyset, wearing a hooded Packers sweatshirt. This individual was accompanied by the suspect, Charles Witzel, in this investigation. This man is simply a person of interest who investigators wish to interview in this case. Anyone who can identify this person is asked to call the Dane County Sheriff's Office at 255-2345 or the Tips line at 284-6900. Please refer to the 2nd page of this Press Release for the images. **Update** Investigators have identified and spoken to the individual that accompanied, Charles Witzel, at a local retailer. There is no further update as to Witzel’s location.
