Death Investigation Update

Madison, WI. October 17, 2008 – Detectives from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Dane County Coroner’s Office, continue to investigate the body found in Lake Kegonsa State Park on October 13th. A preliminary description of the individual found is that of a male, non-caucasian, with dark colored hair. This individual was wearing “Old Navy” brand blue jeans, a “South Pole” brand tan zip-up jacket with green thermal sleeves, and may have been carrying an olive green backpack. Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen someone fitting this description in the area of Lake Kengonsa State Park in the past couple of months.
