OWI - 5th Offense

Madison, WI. April 19, 2008 – At approximately 1:23 am on Saturday, April 19, 2008, a Dane County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 2007 red Ford Explorer going 61 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on CTH M, south of Mineral Point Road. Jason H. Ackerman, age 28 of Madison, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI)-5th Offense and taken to Meriter Hospital for a blood draw. He was cited for speeding, Operating After Revocation, and booked into the Dane County Jail for the felony OWI. Ackerman has two OWI cases pending and if convicted on both, this would be his OWI-7th Offense.
