TWO VEHICLE CRASH IN THE TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE

Madison, WI. January 30, 2008. On Tuesday, January 29 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Deputies from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall Police, State Patrol, Sun Prairie Fire, along with Marshall and Deer Grove EMS responded to a two vehicle head-on crash on County Highway TT at Creek Haven Road, town of Sun Prairie. Rebecca L. Templeton, age 21 of Madison was northbound on County Highway TT in a 1987 Jeep Cherokee when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed the centerline into the path of a southbound 1999 Plymouth Voyager driven by David P. Janke, age 43 from Marshall. Templeton was not wearing her seatbelt and was transported with non-life threatening injuries to a local hospital by EMS. Janke who was wearing his seatbelt was also transported with non-life threatening injuries to a local hospital. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Slick road conditions were a contributing factor. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
