House Explosion - Update

Madison, WI. June 9, 2008 – At approximately 2:30 pm, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a house explosion at 7636 Grinde Road in the town of Windsor. The sole occupant, a 58 year-old female, received serious injuries and was transported by Med Flight to UW Hospital. Based on the seriousness of her injuries, her name is currently being withheld. The extent of the damage and the cause of the explosion are currently under investigation. ***UPDATE*** June 10, 2008 - The woman injured in yesterday’s house explosion in the town of Windsor is Judith A. Merry. She remains at UW Hospital in critical condition. Dane County Sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate the cause of the explosion.
