Madison, WI: September 29, 2008 - Inmate Antwonie Johnson, age 22, has been declared AWOL from the Dane County Jail after leaving the Ferris Center without authorization. Johnson is sentenced with Huber work release privileges, but left the facility without approval of staff. Johnson is currently serving time for battery, criminal damage to property, and trespass to land. Johnson is a black male, appoximately 6'00" tall and weighs 175 pounds. Johnson has short brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his left shoulder and right forearm. His last known address is in the City of Madison. Anyone with information concerning Johnson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Communication Center at 255-2345 or call 9-1-1. UPDATE: September 30, 2008 - Inmate Antwonie Johnson turned himself in to the Ferris Center at approximately 2:15 pm. An Escape charge is being referred to the Dane County District Attorney's Office.
