Dane County Jail Inmate AWOL - Update

Madison, WI: September 12, 2008 Inmate Eric J. Sturkey, age 37, failed to return to the Ferris Center after being released at 8:30 am this morning for work release. Sturkey is sentenced with Huber work release privileges, which allows him to leave the jail for work purposes. Sturkey is currently serving time for Burglary. Sturkey is a black male, approximately 5' 07" tall, and weighs 170 pounds. Sturkey has short black hair, balding in the middle, and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his left shoulder, right arm, and back. Sturkey's last known address is in the City of Madison. Anyone with information as to the location of Sturkey is asked to call the Communication Center at 255-2345 or 911. ***UPDATE*** Sturkey turned himself in to the Dane County Jail – Public Safety Building at 1:40 am, on Saturday, 9-13-08.
