Barn Destroyed by Fire

Madison, WI: Sunday, June 8, 2008 - At 3:01 am, Dane County Sheriff's Office Deputies, along with Mt. Horeb and Verona Fire Departments, were dispatched to 1454 Keller Road, in the Town of Perry, for a structure fire. Arriving units found a 30 foot by 92 foot barn fully engulfed by flames. The barn, containing 15 calves, 500-600 bales of hay, and other feed, was a complete loss. An estimate of damage is unavailable at this time. The cause of the fire remains undetermined and under investigation, but does not appear to be suspicious.
