OWI - 5th Offense

At approximately 11:54 pm on Saturday March 22nd, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on CTH MN in the town of Pleasant Springs. William J. Herbst, age 32 of Middleton, had rolled his 1999 Chevrolet pick-up truck near 2857 CTH MN. Herbst had to be extricated from the vehicle by McFarland Firefighters. McFarland EMS also responded and checked Herbst, who only received minor injuries in the crash. Deputies then took him to Meriter Hospital for a blood draw. Herbst was arrested and booked into the jail for Operating While Intoxicated – 5th Offense. He was also cited for Operating After Revocation, Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. ###
