One-Vehicle Crash Town of Medina

Madison, WI. 11/2/2007 – At approximately 2:00 pm Dane County Sheriff's Deputies along with Marshall Fire/EMS responded to a one-vehicle crash on Hwy T just west of Marshall in the town of Medina. The driver of the vehicle, a 75-year old woman, was traveling eastbound on Hwy T. The vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and then off the road striking a tree. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and had to be removed from the vehicle by rescue workers. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and was transported by Med Flight to UW Hospital with serious injuries. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined and remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff's Office. The name of the driver is being withheld due to the severity of her injuries and notification of family members.
