48-year-old Martin J. Meyers has been declared AWOL from the Dane County Jail.
Mr. Meyers was transported to a local medical facility around 1:00 PM on Wednesday October 7th and was last seen around 4:00 PM, before he left the hospital without permission. Meyers is currently serving a 30-day Huber sentence for contempt.
Meyers is a white male, 6’00”, 200lbs, with blue eyes and brown hair. He had no shoes and was wearing blue pants and a brown shirt and was last seen around the area of 202 S. Park Street in the City of Madison. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Dane County Communications Center at 608-255-2345.
