LAKE DEATH INVESTIGATION

 

 

Madison, WI- November 27th, 2025- at approximately 2:05 P.M.. Dane County Marine and Trail deputies, along with Madison Fire and Rescue responded to a report of an unconscious person in the water on Lake Mendota near North Shore Drive, in the City of Madison.

 

The male individual was removed from the water and was pronounced deceased on scene. The medical examiner’s office will release the name of the male once the identity is confirmed. The death is still under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
