Impaired Driving Crash

A Reedsburg man is facing a felony OWI charge after he crashed his Chevrolet Impala in the town of Cottage Grove.
At approximately 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 25th, Dane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a citizen report of a silver sedan being “all over the road” on eastbound Highway 12. While deputies were on their way, Gregory M. Foley, age 62, drove through a field, a yard, hit a sign, and eventually pulled into a driveway on CTH BN. Deputies had to forcibly enter the vehicle after Foley did not respond to their presence. At one point, he put the car into gear and tried to drive away. 
Deer-Grove EMS responded to the scene to evaluate Foley and transport him to St. Mary’s Hospital. After being medically cleared, Foley was booked into the Dane County Jail on a felony OWI (4th offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine, and a probation violation.
