At 3:37 pm on Monday, January 13th, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Fire and EMS, responded to 10173 U.S. Highway 14 in the town of Black Earth for a pedestrian struck by a pick-up truck in a parking lot of Wisconsin Heights High School.
The 14-year-old pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UW Hospital by Med-Flight.
The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation. The Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the scene, which closed part of the parking lot for approximately three hours. The incident remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
