Village of Blue Mounds Fire

At 2:45 am, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a fire at Curly’s Pub and Grub on Main Street in the Village of Blue Mounds. Smoke filled the building, which included a single-family apartment above the business. All six residents of the apartment were safely evacuated. The Red Cross also responded to assist the family. The cause of the fire is under investigation but does not appear suspicious. Preliminary damage estimates are about $200K.
