A Mount Horeb man is AWOL from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office Jail Diversion program.

Richard C. Williams, age 39, was declared AWOL on Sunday morning after deputies received an alert that Williams had cut off his GPS monitoring bracelet and was last seen in the Madison area.

Williams is serving a sentence for operating a motor vehicle without consent, theft and violating a domestic abuse injunction. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Dane County Communications Center at 608-255-2345.

Dane County Sheriff’s Office Jail Diversion Deputies located Richard C. Williams and returned him to the Dane County Jail.
