Fatal Crash

On Friday, March 17 at 6:46 pm, Dane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fatal rollover crash on southbound U.S. Highway 151, just west of County Highway PD in the town of Springdale.

The driver and lone occupant had been ejected from the vehicle. The 36-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Crash reconstruction experts from the Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate, which closed U.S. Highway 151 at County Highway PD and the southbound on-ramp.

The woman’s identity will be released by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
