The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion on the 6300 block of Arrowhead Trail in the town of Burke. Deputies were called to the home at 1:13 am after the homeowner came face-to-face with the suspects.

The victim was working in his basement and going to and from the garage with supplies, when he heard footsteps upstairs and then saw a masked person walk from his house into his garage. He first checked on his family members inside and then went back outside to see three suspects leave in a white SUV.

The suspects took keys to a vehicle and the home, along with the garage door opener. Deputies investigated the scene overnight and will follow up today with neighbors in the area to solicit any potential video doorbell evidence.
